Nokia and telecom operator BSNL announced Tuesday that it will work together to take advantage of the 4G LTE technology for smartphone 4G LTE technology to enable more efficient efficiency in Nokia's Chennai Plant.

Nokia extends telecommunication equipment through various technologies of Tarek's factory in Chennai, providing food to both domestic and global customers.

The factory now manages Industrial 4.0 solutions such as Advanced Reality and Virtual Reality (AR / VR), Connected Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics and Internet of Things (IoT) and increase productivity.

Anupam Srivastava, Chairman and Managing Director of BSNL, said, "Nokia is already one of our main partners in the development of the 5G ecosystem, and now we are exploring the use of industrial 4.0 which can benefit greatly from the 5G".

"In the Chennai factory, for industrial 4.0, this network can be scaled up to 5G, which demonstrates our preparation for new opportunities with the 5G and IOT of India."

Industrial 4.0 relies on low productivity, high-reliability network and robotic efficiency and AI's driving in new-class automation and data exchange manufacturing industries, thereby reducing operational efficiency and cost.

Nokia's Chennai facility has exceeded its milestone production of 4 million units in the 10th year recently.

"With our cooperation with BSNL, we will be able to continue our efforts to achieve the latest technological advancements and to build future digitized and connected factories in the future, it will create a way to create smart production in the 5G era", Sanjay Malik, Vice President of India Market in Nokia And chief MD.

Nokia has set up a network using its micro-core network and multi-access edge computing platform, providing edge-cloud capabilities and reducing data processing and delayed users to users.

BSNL is already working with Nokia and Chinese player ZTE in the roadmap of 5G technology.

Earlier this year, Nokia and BSNL have signed a network modernization agreement to launch 4G and voice over LTE (voltage) services in the west and south regions of India.
